Scientific and research activities:

    Present research is focused on:
  1. Development of methods of radionuclide speciation analysis, with accent to complexes with humic substances and determination of uranium species with the use of TRLFS and UV-Vis methods.
  2. Experimental determination of interaction characteristics of selected elements of interest with solid phases of natural origin in laboratory by batch and diffusion methods, and construction of sorption and transport models in the environment of
    • GoldSim Monte Carlo Simulation Software,
    • PhreeqC
    • The Geochemist’s Workbench
    • MatLab etc.
  3. Safety analysis of spent fuel disposal: migration of critical radionuclides in both engineered and natural barriers.
